if we were in a simulation it would mean someone is simulating child pornography

today we dont allow drawing naked kids and you're trying to tell me in the future we will simulate kids getting fucked? yeah no

Japan allows it.

not with real people
this means if we are in a simulation we are probably like an anime for the real world

actually in most American states, Japan, and anywhere else that cares about freedom, it's legal. also it's possible that full-blown CP will be legal in the future as society progresses further away from old religious "eww sex is gross that means it's evil and should be illegal" nonsense.

>implying the simulation is that hands on
Think about it, anon, whoever is simulating us is long since gone, that's why things are so fucking weird now
our entire universe is just a program running on a dusty, interdimensional c64 and the only reason we still "exist" is because our creator forgot to pull the plug back in the dark ages

It's not legal in most part of the US

Who is being protected when teenagers get arrested for taking photos of themselves?

That is a ridiculous argument that you chose to sidestep the real issue.

Can't you at least be honest on an anonymous imageboard?

>those who cannot consent
Entirely possible that our view of consent will change. Maybe we will consider children capable of consent, or we could go back to a medieval view that what matters is the consent of the father.
Age of consent is a social construct that changes across cultures and periods, it's not an immutable law of the universe

This, there are even a few fairly modern countries where having sex with children is culturally acceptable, which for us 1st-worlders is a little bewildering, particularly since these countries are not ones with much of a culture of consent.

But that person would be simulating war, death, plague, rape , etc.
A couple naked kids on the darkweb seem negligible in the grand scheme of this.

I never implied it was a good thing, just that considering the nature of cultures of the world it's bound to happen. Personally I think sex with minors should never happen without consent, and even with consent I'd only lower the age to 14 at a bare minimum, though perhaps with some more flexible age range rules (i.e. 16/13 pairing is more acceptable than 30/13 pairing). And measuring by age alone probably isn't sufficient if there's a reliable way to measure maturity or mental age.

Why is it ridiculous?

>anyone capable of abstract thought about an issue is in league with the devil!
Recognising that AOC is socially constructed does not mean one is in favor of molesting children. The entire legal system is a social fiction, but I still think murder is a bad thing.
