then the velocity at a point r meters from the center is 2*pi*r*rps.
Now lets co.pute the radius for the puter edge to go 100.000km/s (theres no way its faster than 1/3c it would be crazy).
r=100.000.000/(2pi*rps)=1/(20*pi) which is "a bunch of centimetres".
So it's not completely crazy. If the thing is 3 orders of magnitude smaller it can have a velocity 3 orders of magnitude slower which is ~0.1c so not insane anymore
