Race is the largest factor in the IQ gap. Remove all socio-economic factors and the gap persists

That's why I said "most people you actually meet." Socio-economic factors have a *huge* impact on which members of the overall population you actually will interact with, because they influence what kinds of people will live in your local area, who you'll meet at your workplace, etc.

The impact of this is such that the fact that you have encountered a person is an enormous confounding factor that swamps the overall racial IQ gap.

People need to be more skeptical and self reliant on obtaining, fact checking, and retaining information. Partially correct tho muddled logic. People with power and money may have conflicted feeling about their "success." It's what's known as survivors guilt. Also, if the power and wealth they have gained is simply the result of having a head start in life by having more power and wealth than others at the start of their existence, then it delegitimizes their all their successes in life. If they can put the blame of other's failures and their success on genetics, then there is no need for shame and maybe they'll feel a little better.

Of course not everyone is rich and thinks this way. Many people are simply brainwashed by the rich and powerful. The rich use their influence to manipulate the reptile brain's of the weak into tribalistic and xenophobic tendencies to support their own desires and beliefs.

This is true. In my STEM master’s programme there is one black guy and as far as I know he is a clever dude. The rest is either white or Asian.

However, the racial IQ gap also means that it is normal that there are so few blacks in positions that require high IQ and there is no need for affirmative action.

Proper affirmative action is supposed to be a safeguard against bias, that way people like that black dude can actually participate in those kinds of programs. While it may be normal for there to be less blacks, the need for AA exists because the normality may be taken as an assumption when deciding whether or not to let a black person into such a program.

Human beings are often unaware of their biases and tend to believe that their beliefs are reflected in nature, even when the facts say otherwise.
