/sci/ I’m at a loss.. I want to start my own business(es) which preferably rely heavily on mathematics but I also want to do research really bad and I don’t think it’s possible to do proper research while doing business/working.. what do I do? Become a math autist like perelman and live a NEET life and contribute to math or do I work on a proper career? If I pick the latter, is there any hope at doing math at retirement age (~60)?

The thing is I want to explore different areas of math and do research in them to see if there’s anything that’s just too hard for me .. i want to know my limit. Wait it just hit me.. i will go for the money and do research on a yacht during the summers
