Those are solid advices, modern food industry has deprived most foodstuffs from most of the necessary micronutrients and depending on where you live it can be extremely expensive to eat well-rounded, balanced diet that gets every niche covered. On a completely different note though... i couldnt just will myself to rise up from the apathy and self-loathing, so i got some hard psychedelics that physically change your brain connections... i cant necessarily recommend it for obvious reasons but i literally felt like reset after my first trip with shrooms. Stop eating sugar. If you go to buy something from the store, check the sugar content level. If it's more than 10%, don't buy it. No sodas allowed also obviously.

I get it too, and I'm sure changing your lifestyle will help to get it less, but the quickest way to get rid of it when you are currently experiencing it is with willpower. If you are in the fog and can't do let's say a math problem, ignore everything else, make sure you are focusing on the problem, even if you can't see it through the fog, take the smallest piece of work there is, even something as small as factoring x^2 + 2xy + y^2, and do it, don't just say this is easy I know the answer, actualy think about how you did it and what the answer is, then take another small piece that slightly harder and repeat. If you don't have a problem with a simple part then take a proof, theorem or example in a textbook, read the first piece and make sure you understand it, doing this clears up mind fog for me almost every time, every small thing I think about seems to get my mind working and removes all the fog. It sometimes takes considerable effort and it feels like I'm making no progress while trying to get out of the fog, but in 5-10 minutes it's over and my mind is clear.
