Is the Serial Killers desire to kill come from a culture effect on his/her psyche, or from a biological trait?

Not that either is excusable, but I was wondering if it is something learned or passed down. Like for fetishes, they often could not exist without certain cultural ideas (crossdressing and etc). Do serial killers like killing because of how our culture feels about murder?

It should also probably be noted that Serial Killers often have a "type" of person they prefer to murder.

OP failed to define what a serial killer is.
Your combining different types of people under 1 definition and asking the question "Why are all these different things not the same?".

Elliot Rodger was a serial killer.
Police offers are serial killers.
Doctors are serial killers.
Gang members are serial killers.
Pilots are serial killers.
Almost none of these are primarily sexually motivated.
If you look hard enough you can justify sexual motivation for anything but that's not the reason people kill.

Fix your definitions faggot.
