Who else thinks the DIY biohacker market is about to explode? Government regulations and big companies patent trolls are the only barrier now.

This time the government can not sustain a reasonable grudge against this market. And don't forget this market is in the same position than computers in the 70's.

They take samples of two types of stem cells from you, grow follicles over the course of a few days, them implant them in you.
It's an improvement to another (basically the same) process that had the same result but like a hundredths the follicle through-put.

Testing on humans is expected in 5 years.

Even back in the 80s the world was brimming with relevant documentation concerning hardware, software etc. DIY without relevant background knowledge, documentation or even basic guides usually does fucking nothing. Just imagine what a complete amateur could achieve using a Raspberry or god forbid soldering chips and resistors himself. Without any background knowledge or tutoring one would be completely out of his depth

So what do these potential DIY biohackers have? Is there easy to access documentation etc? Even youtube videos? Do you need to actually go out into some higher education to really delve into this stuff? Do you have to pirate or god forbid pay for papers? How out there is it?
