Philosophy question for you /sci/, is there one fundamental science, or do math, physics, and chemistry make up a three pillar system where neither can exist without the other two?

>fundamental

What is the nature of this category? What exactly do you mean by "fundamental"?

>science

What is science? What is the difference between a fundamental science and a (regular) science? Is one above the other? Are they on the same level?

Mmm.

Science is literally just a systematic way of understanding the universe we live in. Whether you like skeletal structures, gay fucking equations or leafs just study what caters to your form of autism.

The way we split science into disciplines is arbitrary and largely the result of historical accidents.

The XKCD cartoon isn't the original. Some dweeb modified it.
But the fields do blur. Can't do chemistry without knowing some quantum mechanics these days.
