You're the actual autist here by inserting it into an unrelated topic.

hay math ppl i need an answer:
I read in a book this:
we want that sqrt(-1) had the property
sqrt(a*b)=sqrt(a)*sqrt(b)

if so i thought wouldnt that be contradictory since:
-sqrt(-1)=sqrt(-1)^2*sqrt(-1)=sqrt(-1)*sqrt(-1)*sqrt(-1)=sqrt((-1)^2*-1)=sqrt(-1)
thus -sqrt(-1)=sqrt(-1)
and-1=1
help

>> No.9775987

>>9775860
sqrt(a*b)=sqrt(a)*sqrt(b) only holds for a,b > 0

That's not infinity, it's a turned 8. Notice how the other numbers are tilted as well. It's just a circle going from 0 to 8 to -8 to 0

In the picture it shows -infinity but by your logic it’s an 8 with a dash above it

A better phrasing would be to say that it is the current balance of the US national account, or the US global trade deficit

You are correct. The square root function stops preserving multiplication for negative numbers.

I thought this was an already understood idea as they are complements of each other. It is less about the idea of a 'negative' verser operator on the positive side so much as their relationship is like a cup of water adjusted to the median level. It is both half full, and half empty, by definition. Such as there is an outward counting, and an inward counting.
