Thats not even the aral sea
The sahara continues to expand as it has since the beginning of history.

Remember Alexander the great nearly died of thirst going to the Siwa Oasis in 300 bc. As in, it was nearly impassable sand and desert even then (look at it on a map)

The Aral Sea was destroyed mostly by a water divergence to water cotton in uzbekistan.
Wiki:
Formerly one of the four largest lakes in the world with an area of 68,000 km2 (26,300 sq mi), the Aral Sea has been shrinking since the 1960s after the rivers that fed it were diverted by Soviet irrigation projects. By 1997, it had declined to 10% of its original size

If you are serious about man-made climate change that is okay but pick a real fucking serious example.

You might note that neither Lake Chad nor the Aral sea drying out is because of Carbon dioxide emissions.

I suspect your quadruply redundant Socratically ironic bait posting is to induce continued smugness about the canard of C02 emissions taking the forefront of environment science and climate change arguments.

Could you do me a favor, genius of /sci/ and either elucidate what you think should be done or post coherently about climate or environmental science.. because Lake chad has been drying out since before humans had invented the wheel.

I don't deny the climate can change and that humans have some impact.
However, most of the claims by politicians and normies that heard it on facebook, about humans impacting the climate out there is pseudo science, it maybe true, but they take it completely on face value.
>just trust me I'm a climate scientist. You don't need to see my method.
Showing the images that you posted without any context (time of year for example) or any evidence of other analysis performed, is enough to convince these people.
People in this area (normies and some "scientists") are quick to jump to conclusions without looking at multiple angles. This is what happens when systems such as the Earth's climate is over simplified to "raise awareness".
Environmental Science degrees seem to be fully of propaganda these days, such as regulation and taxation being the best solutions to a problem.

Images like the one you posted should have a paragraph of text explaining all the angles they used to absolutely confirm that it is from an average warming of the temperature and not some other thing. Also I'm curious as to why they chose the particular to show, perhaps they were worse than average years for that body of water. Perhaps this is due to a isolated change in climate in that region by factors exclusive to that region.

But you do deny that a severe rate of warming is occurring and humans are the sole source of the change in radiative forcing that is causing that warming, which is what the scientific evidence says. And you do deny that the consequences of this are both preventable and extremely negative, which is what the scientific evidence says. And you do deny that preventing the warming will be less costly than the consequences, which is what the scientific evidence says. Right?
