Study more.

You can possibly advance by practicing different approaches, changing diet, sleeping better, etc. But if you are at the point of asking this, it boils down to how much time you are willing to spend on the material.

Humanities Grad Student - doing translation and I pretty much need to dip in every disipline's honey pot.

Did Math Applied in year 11 and 12 in Australia so I didn't really doing limits, just derivatives and that's in the context of finance i.e. "applied stuff".

What text should I use? I like rigour but I don't like assumed knowledge. I did a discrete maths unit in undergrad (set theory, logic, combinatorics, matrices) and one of my major was philosophy so I know up to first order logic.
