I think cubism is pretty interesting.

And art in general. There is more to it than recreating a scenery as accurately as possible, especially in a time when cameras will do just that.

But trying to force-group it with science is a bit silly. My physics department hosted an art exhibition for science-inspired art. It was cool and all but you could usually tell which people had day jobs as scientists and which ones were artists because both were lacking in the other department.

That's exactly why schools started ofering ______ Studies degrees. They couldn't bend the requirements of typical degree programs enough to end up admitting a number of minorities representative of the general population so they created degrees that would cater to each specific group. It worked but eventually the ________ Studies majors realized that their degrees didn't make as much as traditional degrees so now they're trying to force everything to cater to them. This only works if the requirements everywhere are significantly lowered. STEAM is ridiculous but does all morons into the club without them actually getting into the STEM part of STEAM. It's being tolerated because it's a last ditch effort to keep the mouth breathing barbarians out of the academic programs society needs to actually graduate competent workers.
