Include more neurology. Psychology is turning into sociology especially with the large influx of women who think they're STEM but suck at math and other rigorous disciplines. Psychology paired with neuroscience is pretty valid

100% agree with this. neuroscience/neurobiology is actually really upper level biology, that's just studying neurons in a research setting, which requires like everything biochemistry or molecular biology does.
a psychology degree is no where NEAR the same level.
neuroscience is not what most people think it is. It's tedious cell culture research work, not poking brains and seeing what happens.

You just need to pair it well with neuroscience. Neuroscience already proved psychology and psychiatry aren't bullshit since we can see the impact of different psychotherapies directly on the brain structure and functions and we know that you can't cure any mental illnesses by simply fixing the brain and doing nothing else.
