Idk pushing women towards stem will hopefully lead to progress on closing the wage gap but I don't understand why we don't just people towards what they are passionate about. Gender inequality isn't a problem at all. It exists but it's part of nature.

Women and Men are biologically and neurologically different, with different tastes and aptitudes.

If women wanna 50%50% in every field then women should be forced to work as soldier, firefighter, coal miner, and car mechanic. And men would be forced to work as nurses. But that is totally impractical.
