Post about your college/university. Does anyone here go to Nottingham University? May be transferring this year, and just want opinions on the university, in particular for mathematics.

Do people in Oxford generally care about their subject and read deeply into it, or do they just focus on exams?

I'd say most people are really only interested in one part of the material, the rest is just a chore to learn for exams. For example, a lot of chemists really hate organic and view mostly as a memorization test for exams.
