This one hits home. I think the whole thing about transsexualism tied to this one is a bit silly and that it's more of a fetish than anything else. I mean if I could magically turn into a biological female I'd do it, but I don't feel any dysphoria and am perfectly happy with being a man. Gender reassignment surgery is intensely fucked up and you'd need to be seriously messed up to try it with today's tech.

In all seriousness, it's not a disease. For some people it's a fetish, for others it's a sign of underlying gender dysphoria. And sadly the only real treatment for dysphoria seems to be transitioning.
