can someone explain mass to me? why does it bend space? what is the higgs interaction?

It doesn't. How could it.

Mass can basically the property to how much it wants to not move, or the collective matter in an object, which yea its definition is actually more elusive than this just like matter, the building block for this definition. Mass doesn't bend spacetime, if its a planet gravity bends spacetime not the mass, basically all known forces make the curves in spacetime. The higgs field is supposed to give things mass.

If mass is stuffness then how do massless things even exist?

Tell me about space-time. Why does it bend to the mass?

Be pretty cool if the next avatar is able to bend spacetime. Have the next Korra be the biggest sack of shit you've ever seen and have her powers make Aang orbit her, make her special move send down the moon.

99% of your mass is virtual particles, nothing to do with higgs

It's like electric charge. Does the fact that a particle doesn't have EM charge blow your mind?
