If IQ is the pinnacle granting function and/or faculty, then why not use your relatively high IQ and devotion to figure out how to raise both your own or others IQs (?).
That way some other guy(s) (Guise, get it?) will be "smart" enough to advance physics and math etc.
Then, rather than being another brick in the academic paper wall, you'd be one of the guys that allowed development of 5D bricks.
Civilisational shortcut.
I'd recommend either that (the above) or becoming some kind of specialised generalist and making origami constructs out of the paper(s).
But at the end of the day (and even before then) it's your life.
