I had my ice cream in the fridge for a day, took it out and put it in the freezer one hour ago. When will it be frozen again? It is 500g, the freezer is -5C, the fridge +4.

Depends on the size and shape of the packaging as well as the mass.

You'll have to use the convection formula, which will require you to find the exposed surface area and experimentally determine a coefficient by repeating the procedure several times.

It's cylindrical Ben and Jerry's.
Thanks for the scientific opinions but I was looking for something along the lines of "in like one hour your ice cream will taste great"

If it was allowed to melt, it'll never be terribly enjoyable again. Ice crystals will form and ruin the texture.

if your ice cream is liquid you ruined it. It will never be ice cream again, no matter how much you freeze it.
