Increasing exposure on a processed image isn't perfect, but there were two stars bright enough to be picked up at the point I took this screenshot.
I might look through the video again for places where the camera would be using a higher exposure and more likely to have picked up stars just too faintly to be seen in the video.

Not that the flattards will care.

You realize you just got baited by people who aren't even trolling, just shitposting, right?

Still nice to see though, someone should stream Starman footage at an increased exposure level just so we can guess at constellations.

Sounds like fun. Downloading the 1080p quality stream and I'll have a poke around in Resolve.
I had to bump the exposure by about +3 to reach that level in the image, maybe throwing that across the entire vid will be enough.

Playing with the levels in Resolve sure is something.
I'm not sure how many stars you can see, even in >>9514472 they may not be stars. The thing is that the LOX is still boiling off slowly in space, so you see a lot of bright particles moving upwards in the frame, however they have different speeds, not uniformly, so they can't be a star field.

There are some places where there seems to be stars moving from left to right across the frame at a uniform rate, but it seems pretty uncommon because you need a situation where the camera was at the correct adjustment to catch the stars.
Still could be interesting to see. Encoding the entire thing will take a fucking long time though so I might crop out bits and pieces and timestamp them in case some faggot wants to verify.
