I was wondering if the actual iq difference between countries is because of genetics or is it more envirionmental. I see people say that the average iq of a white person is like 100 and africans at 70 and asians at like 110 or something like that but is the difference that big genetically or is it mostly due to environmental reasons. I feel like the african iq is lower because they have litterally no access to education and dont think about anything because they are on a farm just trying to survive and not starve.

I also find it hard to believe that the average African is borderline retarded.

There are studies on that and if I recall the results correctly, black kids raised by white families had higher IQs, but still lower than white kids raised by white families. There's definitely at least some environmental factor, but hard to say how much. It also possible that it's all environmental.

There is no better way to study environmental impact on IQ. Since twins are born to the same parents, the variable of heritability is automatically controlled for by testing for IQ before or shortly after adoption.

Actually it goes both ways, particularly with wealth. The stereotype of wealth=money is a recent occurrence and in it's original form wealth=food/resources. Better quality food provided better quality nutrition which then provides better body growth especially for the brain. Deficiency in food / nutrition in general can have an effect on brain growth especially during prenatal. Obviously wealth as it equates to money on its own cannot raise IQ but nutrition can and the utilization of money to gain access to iodine did in fact raise IQ levels in a number of communities in both America and Europe with research documentation to prove it.
