I need someone who's studied hyperbolics to help me. I have never come across hyperbolics in any of my books.

All I know is the (e^x +/- e^-x) / 2 stuff.

But what is it used for? When would you normally learn it? What is it needed for?

Sorry if it's a stupid question.

I learned it in Calc 1
It's useful for modeling things like bridges and air resistance

I havn't done that much but i know they're used in calculus, not sure what else though. But hey, it's pure maths, it doesn't especially need a practical use, it#s just playing with numbers.

Idiot, i've used google loads of times but I just get an overcomplicated answer where they expect you know what it's for and why it's used.

Fucking retard, if you don't want to help fuck off.
