If you actually watch the video, he merely disproves the methodology for [math]-\frac{1}{12}[/math] used by numberphile. He still tries and ends the video with the attempt of proving [math](\sum{n=1}{\infty}n = -\frac{1}{12})[/math], just in a different way.

Mathmeticians legitamately believe the shit in street pajeet function and are only autistic enough to disagree on how to interpret solving it to be true rather than any solution that defines it false.

Give me one (1) good reason as to why the function defined by [math]\zeta(z)=\sum^\infty_{n=1}\frac{1}{n^z}[/math] for [math]\Re(z) > 1 [/math] and analytically continued according to the functional equation [math]\zeta(z)=2^z \pi^{z-1} \sin(\frac{\pi z}{2})\Gamma(1-z)\zeta(1-z)[/math] doesn't evaluate to -1/12 at [math]z=-1[/math]. Protip: you can't.

More importantly, if an operator or function produces different results, its clearly garbage retardation.
If everyone agreed 2ㄱ3 = 5, but for no intelligible reason 4ㄱ3 = 5, we would throw out ㄱ and never use it again.
You can get different results out of the riemann zeta function like 0, [math]+\frac{1}{12}[/math] or 120.
Shit makes no sense. Its a retard function, unsurprisingly made by a retarded indian.

He does not try to prove "equality" in the sense you wrote.

There is so much wrong with that post.
First of all, the zeta function was invented by Euler, who wasn't Indian, and analytically continued by Riemann, who also wasn't Indian.
Secondly, [math]z1 = z2 \implies \zeta(z1) = \zeta(z2)[/math]. The function doesn't give different results for the same value of z.

That's weird, considering that 2*0=0, but 4*0=0 as well. Strange.

You can't though. -1/12 is the unique result of the analytic continuation.

the whole thing is dummb it clearly doesn't add up to -1/12 this is common sense.
