Stick your right arm out with your palm pointing upwards. Begin rotating your hand around your head (you'll need to move your arm above your head). When you made the full rotation, notice that your hand is in the same location, but your elbow is pointing upwards now. Finally, perform another rotation of your hand, instead taking it below your head. Your arm should be restored to normal.

Notice that the 2pi rotation did not restore the system to normal: your elbow is pointing in the opposite direction. This is a property of chiral structures, objects that have a sort of "handedness" to them. Spinors are such objects, having an effective chirality to their structure.
