This. Got a 4.0 GPA and stopped reading the textbook after the first midterm when I realized all I had to do was understand lectures which are recorded anyways.

For anyone taking this unironically, dont. Your textbook is most likely a great source of information. Especially if you are in chemistry, biology, cs or engineering majors.

The most successful, knowledgeable people read textbooks in college, they dont just watch lectures.
