Physics anons, how do I exert all power into punching someone without much effort so they'd recoil? Is it possible?

>> No.9387294

Action = reaction.
You exert force. You feel the same force exerted back on you.
Karate is the art of doing serious damage with just a little force; a knife exerts no more force than your hand does, but it's concentrated.
Judo is the art of using your opponent's own mass and momentum against him.

There's this one guy from the kgb on you tube..supposedly he's just teaching a common Russian martial art but basically you keep your wrist straight and then you just kinda whip your arm up like a noodle and pushwith your shoulder a little bit and it makes a pretty good punch. After learning it I can't really mess around with anyone without hitting too hard. It's pretty cool

increase m or v. make your fist heavier or punch faster.

Use your core muscles, not your arm or shoulder. pivot on the balls of your feet and dont overextend your arm when you strike. Keep your back reasonably straight, your muscles relaxed and don't tense up.
The single most effective way to improve specifically your punching power, however, is to take some boxing lessons from someone who knows what they are doing.
