Math

To be honest I'm pretty stoked about this semester. I'm finally moving into the deep topics in modern mathematics. One thing I particularly care about is finally figuring out if I am an analysis boi or an algebra boi. I have had to go through both of them as the general topics in the past years needed both algebraic structures and rigorous analytic proofs to understand, but I am finally actually taking a class named "Analysis" and "Algebra".

Other than that, mathematical finance also sounds really good as it is basically the rigorous study of markets so I will finally learn if it is feasible to be a full-time intellectual while at the same time using my superior intellect to play the market and become a billionaire by buying and selling stuff like stocks and currencies. I've read many works of art that play on this idea of a humble worker in a field like education or medicine being a secret millionaire because they can read the stock market like a book and even though I do not care about being rich, I certainly wouldn't mind.

Senior, but I will be in a PhD program next year that allows the 1 on 1 meetings. It is one of the top universities in the nation, but is probably in the 10s or 20s for EE.

During undergrad I also had trouble getting into research and didn't have any experience until junior year 2nd semester. I didn't really try to my first two years, then junior year 1st semester I asked like 5-8 professors and got declined because they either had too many undergrads or thought I wasn't ready coursewise. 2nd semester of junior year I kept asking and a professor said yes and I got some good experience in his lab that semester and senior 1st semester (just ended), and plan to keep helping during next semester. Just go and ask professors, or email them and ask to setup an inperson meeting to talk about it.

I understood the hyperbole and incorporated it in my answer, notice that i said any affection triggers their defenses. HR here isn't some all-powerful entity, only higher management can fire me and everything has to go through my supervisor.
But licking her ass won't do any good either because she has to present results, so it's either my head or her head that will roll in case we're underperforming. If there are lay-offs, which would be rather unusual in biotech as it is a booming industry, we're likely both going because our team is very peripheral. In fact i might have bigger chance to stay employed because i can be more easily integrated into other teams, while she would be competing for oversaturated management positions.
Summa summarum there's no politics in my company if you don't go out of your way to find it. Very little fluidity between management and research positions too, so there really is no need to engage in it.

>Biochemistry, final semester
What are your plans? I finished up my biochem degree back in 2011, so it's interesting to look at this schedule in hindsight, given how biomedical research has changed (e.g. what's hot, what's not), and how much I've used. Took a few gap years, now maybe half of the way through a PhD in structural biology and biophysics.

>Cell Biology
Decent class. Not necessary, but should will help when you have to go into the literature to pick up whatever you'll need to know about your system, whether you're in grad school or industry.

>Physical Chemistry 1
Great class, absolutely worth your time. This is why you're a biochem major -- you have this background and can approach biological problems with a grounding in p-chem.

>Principles of Neurobiology
Sounds like a senior-year biology elective. (I took molecular toxicology.) Unless you're going to do a neuroscience PhD probably won't mean much.

>Computer Programming 101
Bingo. This is a great call on your part. More and more labs in all sub-fields of biology demand computational and programming skills. This wasn't really mentioned much for undergrad training when I was in undergrad around the late-00s, but it seems like in the early- to mid-10s people really started to incorporate it in biochem and molecular bio programs.

I chose the latter. It's okay, you can support a NEET degree girl for the rest of your life, if it is good for you.
I like how my fiancee has an actual job so we can afford good housing, carefree life and quality education for our future children.
Also, the main faculties originate from 1735, the founding of the Bergschola. BME ain't got shit at the time.
We had our traditions before the BME was a running thought.
And the main building is collapsing, I saw the cracks, talked to the head of the food biology faculty about it, which is in one of the building affected. Why would a sane engineer put a subway through mainly gravel and geologically active ground full of thermal springs? Why does BME teach useless engineers?

'=' is the assignment operator, x = 2 means that x equals 2. If you want to compare you use == which is a logical operator and x == 2 is only true if x = 2, otherwise false. He/She/It/whatever the fuck that abomination's preferred gender prefix is, is basically blocking everyone because an assignment operation (x = 2) will always return true unless the computer isn't able to do it, for example if you define x to be a rational number and you say x = green.
It's basically the what you learn on your first day of programming.
There's also the fact that all the program is doing is printing one line to the console (cout means console output) and not actually doing anything at all.

I leaned most of quantum and some qft to start a research project with a professor. I had read most of shankar and sakurai before taking qm1. Also some of peskin and schroeder, most of part 1. He recommended taking qft1 now. Unfortunately it didn't cover anything really useful like path integrals or gauge theories, mostly just standard processes and renormalization.

Once you hit puberty, the human brain becomes hardwired to seek a mate and reproduce. Those who stand a fair shot will cast their interests to the side in a fierce pursuit, often taking years to calm down and regain true interest in something else. I think the difference is that ugly males know their place, so they try to put those desires on the back burner. Meanwhile, ugly women have no self awareness and think they deserve a prince. Being jealous and vapid, and having to make up for the lack of a true personality, they adopt fake interests and traits they believe will be most attractive. These are usually based on what the men they are into, like: sports, video games, music, various social or political stances, even pretending to like certain TV shows. They will also try to emulate who they view as "successful" women in their quest for attention, like the Kardashians and instagram whores, when it comes to appearance and attitude. They literally cannot help themselves.
