Good spatial/temporal resolution comes at the cost of invasiveness and a small number of neurons you can observe.

You need to be very clever to show something interesting with these techniques.

Pretty good if you use a sonograph in tandem with MRI. You can "hear" the blood gushing while the cells uptake.

Closest thing to a C.A.T scan without the rads.
