How can we distinguish between brainlets and actual intelligent people? Any universal traits? Now how can we can distinguish the actual smart people versus the fuckers who just think they are smart and are actually average or dumb? well, you guys have to remember that knowing non-popsci theoretical physics or topology doesnt necessarily indicate intelligence. From my understanding and experiences, intelligence is more about how quickly someone can learn material and critically reflect upon it, not just being able to remember subject material and parrot it like trivia. thats why 7 and 8 year old kids can be called intelligent, even if theyre still learning basic division, and why most high school valedictorians are brainlets that just had really strict parents who forced them to study all the time.

by the way they debate about literally everything. A pseudo-smart brainlet will almost always try to dodge a question when feeling traped, and then try fallacies, while an actual intelligent guys will not do that. Emotional level too, I never met a smart guy that is too emotional with things. Also if you refer your intelligence during a phrase, that is a sign of a brainlet. No smart guy is proud of his intelligence, at least non that I know.
