Why is the distribution of human births split 50-50 between males and females if you only need one male to impregnate multiple women?
Why hasn't nature selected for a higher production of X chromosome sperm in men?

Less genetic diversity. God brainlets need to be executed.

This, someone clearly wasn't paying too much attention in high school biology.

Its not.

Prenatal its 120 males for every 100 females.

Males are more likely to get miscarried so at birth that ratio becomes 106:100.

Males are also more likely to die in middle age so actual population is about 98 males for every 100 females.

Tl:dr: 120:100 then 106:100 then 98:100

Actually, the birth rate is something like 107 boys to 100 girls. So even with monogamy, 1 in 11 males end up as incels.

Let's not the perfect be the enemy of the good in any event. The sexual free market is barbaric and needs to be regulated. The days of the cock carrousel are numbered.

The rate of miscarriage for male fetuses is that high? What factors cause this?

>> No.9062083

On the scale of a large population of humans it makes sense to have more girls, but if you are one human that can only have so many children, having more boys than girls is better because men can impregnate many women, so your genes are passed on more. In the end it sortof balances out because if we had more men than women very few men would actually get their genes passed on.

Aww, some beta is upset they can't fuck as often as they'd like.

most likely because having a male fetus is treated differently by the woman's body than a female fetus, due to some cellular markers being different. A woman's body treats male fetuses very different from female fetuses, protein products produced by the tiny little Y chromosome can be (and are) attacked by the host mother's immune system.

Isn't that what's actually happened though for most of human history? I think some professor or academic made a discovery about that not more than a year ago.

It's linked to meiosis, this division make exactly one male and one female spermatozoa
