You need just a detector for humans or animals on board and a thermometer. if there are any passengers and it is too hot you just detonate the stick of dynamite so that you quickly and conveniently open the car for some fresh air. I'd really like to know what technology this young man has in mind that can cool a 120 degree fahrenheit vehicle cabin to a survivable temperature like 100 in such a small device. Not just that, but the device also needs a thermostat, small computer and a transmitter that, I assume, uses the cell network to contact the parent's cell phone.

As well, it requires an app to be made that will ultimately be giving the parent information.

$20k will NOT cover the costs to design and manufacture 1 prototype.
