Im new to this. Is it earth round as they tell us or flat?

>> No.8971543

>>8971538
The Earth is flattened around the Poles because of the kinetic force due to the Earth turning.

Its fucking round for fucks sake

The water span of that bridge is only 9km. And of course it follows the curvature of the earth, so there's no "drop." Why would they build it tangent?

Easy. It's round.

> it doesn't compensate for curvature.
prove it

Obviously flat

yeah, and it's wider at the equator because of the magnetic pull of the moon

you're all fucking idiots

Why do they square the length of the bridge?

>> No.8971784

It's a really big sphere.
Actually as an interesting fact, it's surface is smoother on average than a billiard ball.

The curvature should be 8 inches over a mile. Laser level tests show this is curvature is not there, especially when testing on canals constructed over a true level datum. You can watch ships disappear from the bottom up as they sail away, but if you look through a telescope the bottom of the ship reappears. People do these tests all the time and are left dumbfounded beczuse the earth obviously isn't fucking flat. We know this because the shadow cast on the moon by the earth during a lunar eclipse is round, thus earth is spherical. The only thing the missing curvature could mean is that the earth is faf larger than we are told. Take from that what you will, but it's the only logical avenue left once you admit the water level tests never show curvature, ever.

Wrong. When taking hight above the earth and refraction into account everything is as expected.

Well it's not perfectly flat because mountains and stuff
