If you have never taken a course where you have done your best and still failed you have never pushed your intellectual limits.

If Einstein had been a "premed" or "prelaw" faggot cuck padding his GPA with soft courses instead of taking physics, we would all be poorer, and some of us would not have even been born.

Challenge yourself you fucking faggot.

What is the purpose of pursuing my intellectual limits? If I'm not having fun, why bother?

There is nothing wrong with premed or prelaw programs, anon. In the end, scientific success comes down to the individual and not any particular institution. If Einstein had been in prelaw or premed, I think that he would've made the same breakthroughs that he is famous for today.

If you take a course too advanced for you to "challenge yourself", you lose out on having a strong foundation and will never contribute anything to it. I took an adaptive filtering class without knowing what a random variable was at the start. I was only able to pass because I had a good background in linear algebra and coding numerical methods. I did not get what I could have gotten out of the course had I taken the classes in the right order. Instead, you should push yourself beyond what is required for an A in a normal course. The most important things you learn about science are taught in your first few years. Having a good grip on general principles is more important than diving into corner case applications.

You would have failed before the era of grade inflation and hand holding you faggot cuck. Enjoy your unearned sense of accomplishment.
