Okey I need some help. Its a really simple question but I just can´t understand how I get the right amount of Mol.

I have the temperature, volume, gas constant, and the pressure (see pic)

What I get is
n= 1 atm*5.9*10^9L / 0.08206 * 273K
n= 263364874,6 mol

But the answer is supposed to be 2.2335*10^4 mol

Can anyone see where I went wrong? Would be much appreciated, exam tomorrow..

Pic in in Norwegian but you can see the numbers.

pls help

PV=nRT
Just check your units and make sure you didnt make a syntax error you dont need a thread for this. Also no one can read this thing.

I´ve checked it many times. Of course its PV=nRT

It looks like your rate constant is wrong, but I'd because you didn't use any units. I'd mark you wrong just because of that

Rate constant, do you mean the gas constant? Because it is the correct one. I used units on everything except the gas constant because I did´t see the need for it on 4chan, and that is not the problem, my answer is way off..

Give us the exercise in English, that'd be more simple

Fucking hell, how can you not get this, you absolute pleb. 250DU of ozone over an area of 2000km2. Standard conditions. 1.Find the volume of gas. 2.Find the substance amount. 3.Find the number of molecules.

The consentration of ozon is 250 DU in an area which covers 2000 km^2. How many ozon molecules is it in total in this area?

So I´ve found the volume, but when I calculate the mol value in PV=nRT, I get the wrong number (see above).

My substance amount does not fit the answer, I know this is easy but I can´t see where I went wrong.
