Vaguely true insofar as cosmology is a branch of astronomy. And cosmology is our best chance at knowing why the universes' settings are as they are. But yeah it is a rather shit cut.

It was two scholarships, one for National Merit and the other just for academics. Between them they covered 4 years of tuition, fees, books, housing, and food plus a bunch of stipends for doing undergraduate research or studying abroad and stuff like that.
