At this point, these people are businessman, clinging onto whatever new theory has not been proven/disproven and letting the imagination run wild to sell you another book. Kind of like Ancient Aliens but within the realm of actual science.
They themselves don't have much to bring to the table, just recompiled theories with some additional questions added in and sold in book form.
