I've been reading a lot of physics books lately and want to start getting into the math of it. Where do I start?

>> No.8846188

the math of it? you mean the actual physics? pick up a textbook, they sell them on amazon. If you know calculus try young and freedman or kleppner and kolenkow

Yes, the actual physics.
>Young and Freedman
Found the textbook in pdf for free thanks for that.

Anything recommendations for cosmology?

I'd start with counting. Try integers at first.

I got to 10. Can I do black holes now?

whats your current understanding of math? (do you know algebra or calculus or more?)

>> No.8846494

so you've been skipping all the physics
sorry anon, you have to start from basic math->dif equations -> abstract algebra -> all calculus ever -> actual physics

some people will think this is a joke but it's actually the best advice
work on math foundations

Why do normies think that studying Quantum Physics makes you a genius? What further infuriates me is they don't know jack shit about math, but pretend they are physics geniuses...This is why I'll stick to mathematics.
