Why is undergrad CS so watered down in terms of rigor. Isn't it Math? Buts its like swe lite + intro tcs.

It's not, wait until you get out of the introduction classes and have to take 3 upper level course in CS in one semester with 3 massive projects that take more than 40 hours a week for the whole 12 week course and still have time to work on your upper level math courses that give you ~2 hours of homework a night. Then add in the other actual class time minimum of 4 classes 3 days a week so you have ~40 hours of class another ~20 of study time.

I guess if you skip your classes and get C's like a retard you might have 'a watered down course rigour'.

Believe it or not, but even social sciences and liberal arts used to be rigorous.

The directors of the school don't care about educating anyone, they just want your 40k. So they pretty much lowered the difficulty wherever possible.

It's still rigorous in my country though. It's just americlaps ruining it for everybody like usual.
