As a (half)Jew who went to Caltech I can tell you that Jews are still overrepresented there compared with population averages. Much less overrepresented than asians though

It's Ashkenazi Jews specifically that have disproportionately high academic achievements. They're a very genetically distinct population due to lots of inbreeding, and were subject to selection pressures favoring increased intelligence.
