The mathematical theory of matter predicts black holes and there seem to be objects that match the theory.
I theorize that matter shrinks to a small FINITE particle that can shrink no further... impossible to prove me wrong.. I name the particle the DRAGON particle.

If the solar system got swallowed by a black hole, but everything got pulled in at a similar rate, and relative to the position of everything else, would we even notice? Would it matter that we got swallowed if we are all getting scaled/compressed the same so from our perspective we don't even notice the warping? What if this has already happened?

It wouldn't happen everywhere all at once at the same rate, so you'd see the warping as its degree increases towards you. I guess things might be fucky when the sensing components of your eyes start getting stretched out, but I'm sure that by then we'd all be physically fucked beyond belief.
