I'm learning it right now and it's like 1 year linear algebra tier. I should have done this years ago. I could have worked through uni.

My dude, you can learn Python and all of it's mathematics functions in 4-5 days by reading the documentation and watching tutorials.

Jeez man, I'm not implying that your certificate (or whatever it is that you obtained) isn't meaningful. What I meant was this: you don't need to go through an accredited program in order to learn programming languages.

Also, Python isn't a "machine language" (it isn't written in "machine code"), if you're wanting to get into that I'd recommend Assembly.

Unless you have at least a Master's degree, you probably won't get that machine learning job.

t. a guy that graduated with his joint math + CS degree last year who had research experience in a machine learning lab and still cant find a machine learning position. at one place that i interviewed at, one of the devs (my friend) told me that the reason i wasnt hired for their machine learning/data science team is because i didnt have a master's degree in CS.
