Hey /sci/ I have an idea having to do with time dilation and how it would effect a computers ability to process things. What are some books I should read so that I can better understand this stuff and maybe develop my idea.

It would have no effect? Get familiar with relativity?

No no no I guess I worded it a bit incorrectly. I have a basic understanding of relativity and am aware it wouldn't be any different from the computers frame of reference. I just want to know some good textbooks to learn about this stuff.

If you're thinking about relativistic computers then its already been thought

>Setup computer to work on a problem that will take years
>Go hang out near a black hole
>Come back a few weeks later
>Computation is done

10THz processing power achieved.

Ah bummer. I'll read up on it though, found a paper on it. Thanks
