this and a refreshed mind which has comprehended and completly understood the material is all you really need.

whenever i see someone with an expensive calculator, a few things go through my mind

1) they are not going to try in this class
2) they think the calculator is going to do all the work for them
3) brainlet

honestly my ti 89 has made me lazy af. I dont even do simple derivatives or integrals anymore. I know it might bite me in the ass one day but im too lazy

Hp50g is my waifu

Haven't learned how to use it super well but I like using it for simple calculations.

Question for Hp50g fags

Say I have an equation I have to reenter a few times with a few different values. What is the best way to do this?

HP48fag here
in my calc there's an equation editor where you enter the equation in one field, and it gives you fields for setting all the free variables it finds. You can then either choose to SOLVE or push the equation with the filled-in values onto the stack

>>8536583
very pretty

>> No.8536710

>>8536701
btw, you can also save the equation on a variable, and use it to fill the equation field again, if you have to do this with several different equations.

right-shift (green arrow) matrix ('Enter' key) takes you to the matrix writer
then you just punch numbers and hit enter, or separate them by spaces to fill rows. Press the down key to go to the next row.

and yeah 3D rendering is fucking slow, as well as some computations.

Casino 991 for adding shit together and a thinkpad with fedora for anything else. Buying expensive calculators is retarded.

I used this calculator for my class right now.

It automatically turns shit into pi/whatever or reduces sqroot to its smallest form. Never gives me back floating point answers. Everyone else in the class freaking out memorizing shit because their calculators all give back floating point answers. my casio just skips over all that shit.
