The greatest contributions he's made are:
A) Influenced the population that science is filled with much more wonder than they thought. Tyson is very vocal with the ideals, of practicing a science, with his mannerisms and tones of speech.

B) Shed some light on the fact that our education system is not very well equipped for the development of rational thinking.

That being said, I feel almost as if Trump and everyone in the White House are turning into some collecyive consciousness that feels as if isolationism is the answer to all our problems.
