So, which STEM degree is THE best one to get (in undergrad)?

none of that "do whatever you're interested in" bs, just tell me the #1 stem degree and why it's #1

ok but which one? what kind of engineering? you don't mean "general engineering" right? that sounds like bs

Math or CS from a Top 10 school. Either of these from HYP will land you a sweet Wall St. or SV job.

Electronic Engineering. It's interesting (like physics), one of the more mathematical engineering degrees, pays really well, and lets you move into other fields with relative ease. This is subjective, though. Honestly, if you're looking at a mathematical STEM degree, then quite honestly the one you're most interested in - or leads to the most interesting career for you - is the best one at undergrad.
For me, it was physics. I've had no problem with job offers, and haven't had my options limited in any way when applying for academic roles, since people like interdisciplinary research these days. Admittedly, employers look for you if you have an engineering or computer science background, but since I'm more interested in academia right now, physics was more appropriate.

Obviously engineering physics. How is this even a question.

The 'do what you like' meme is not a meme. Every single day some new retard comes here telling us how they hate their classes and can't even force themselves to care. Yesterday it was some geologyfag, his thread is probably alive still.

Study what you like, don't be retarded.

You shouldn't be going to classes anyway. Get a job and just study for your exams.

any applied science/applied math/statistics/ comp sci.

things that involve heavy application and model building, very little theory and intellectual-masturbation.

>physics/chem/bio are garbage unless they are "applied" and specialized degrees. like pharma for chemistry is fine. nuclear for physics is okay.

Should I study a b.biomed or just a bsc with physiology units if i want to get into med school or do a doctor of dental surgery?
I'm pretty worried about not being able to find employment if I can't get into post grad.
