You probably can't and won't. It was never quite as bad for me (I usually start just seven to five days before an exam), and I never got rid of this. Always jealously watched my peers spending whole days in the library or wherever three weeks before the exams, it seems crazy to me, still does.

Now that I'm in grad school and I finished all my courses it's much easier to spend way too much time at university, mainly because now I have an office and nice equipment to work with. You have a goal and do whatever is necessary to get there, the vague study phase is finally over.

Thats no habit,you re just not interested in the subject in question.
Its understandable,some people here that just want to finish uni force themselves to study even if they dont want it just to get it over and move on to something else.
