When working through a textbook, do you include your solutions to exercises in your notes? How many exercises do you do before moving on?

i do the exercises until they feel mundane and obvious. do them in a separate book, not my notes

op, listen to this guy. Have a seperate notebook for exercises and do as many as you can stand. If the book hasn't provided enough exercises for you to fully grasp a concept, google the class your taking and you'll surely come across more problems.

Repeat this for any class ever and revel in the sweet A's you'll be guaranteed to get.

Here's my future study plan for textbooks (not doing this yet):

1. Read through the chapter and take notes
2. Read through it again straight through.
3. Read through it again and do all of the questions provided throughout the chapter
4. Revise notes
5. Do all of the end-of-chapter questions.
