I wonder what's with all these freshmen every fucking year.

Is is that the 12 year-olds that shitpost about consciousness and Mochizuki here go to university, drop out after the first year and get back to shitposting again? Or do they grow up after a few semesters and realise that posting their 'achievements' on an Anonymous Nepalese manure upcycling image board isn't really all that satisfying?

Is it the same people every time, like do they drop out and then apply again? Or is it a new generation every year?

I sure do wonder.

Fucking matrix, man. It's so simple and somehow I still failed.

I don't remember. It was 10 years ago. Probably I didn't show up to class and didn't do any homework. MMORPG was so popular back then.

I wonder if I'm more like the next Gauss, or the next Cauchy? I'd probably say I'm closer to the next Von Neumann desu

It feels pretty good honestly, but it's also a lot of responsibility since the expectations are higher for me.

Yeah, I get it bro. Us intelligent people have it worse than most average people think. Honestly I was almost driven to a breakdown studying for my college Calc exam the other week. The concept of a discontinuity and how it relates to limits was just really confusing me. After wracking my brain for a couple of hours and poring over my textbook, it finally clicked for me, and I nearly cried out of relief. The idea that I would disappoint my professor.
This is the kind of feeling that average people will never know.

My 21 year old semi-autistic grillfriend Aced diff eq in community college.

Congrats, you're as smart as a grill who didn't know how to pay the bill at Red Robin; I literally had to explain the process to her.

Obviously she's never experienced that before.
If you've never payed a bill before of course you're not going to know how to do it. My extraordinary ability to solve differential equations stems from mathematical intuition alone. You should appreciate your girlfriend more.
