Why has Tesla become a meme? Brainlets worship him as some kind of superhuman intellectual. They're convinced that he was the smartest man to ever live (they don't even know who von Neumann is).

What shitty YouTube channel or meme scientist started this nonsense?

The government confiscated a lot of his research when he died. Whos to say if there was anything worth covering up in there, but when the government covers something up it attracts the conspiracy nuts. Conspiracy nuts are almost always brainlets. He was a brilliant inventor for his time, however crazy he was, but half the shit people claim about him is completely false.

>Tesla dies
>The FBI confiscates his private research
>They give it to the scientist John Trump so he can go through it
>John Trump learns all of Tesla's secrets
>Rumors circulate that Tesla was researching everything from cloning, to teleportation and even time travel
>He holds onto the research to study it further
>He eventually dies
>John Trump is Donald Trump's uncle
>In his will he leaves his notes on Tesla's research to Donald
>Donald Trump is now in possession of Tesla's secret research
>He promptly becomes a billionaire celebrity/real estate tycoon
>Organizes the miss universe/world pageant and fucks all the most beautiful girls in the world every day
>Defying all conventional logic he is close to becoming the most powerful in the whole world despite never being a politician

Do you think there was something in Tesla's notes that is helping Trump?

Tesla died a virgin, alone and pennyless in the hotel room he lived in. Why the fuck do you think he would know anything about being a billionare playboy?

He doesn't need to. But if he knew how to predict the future he could do anything

I assume he means Trump learned time travel from Tesla, not how to get rich and fuck babes.

Personally, I like the "Pence is a time traveler from farther in the future and there are several time-clones of him running around" part of the theory the beat.

He likely had some pretty big hangups. Some say gay, but he was know to flirt with women quite effectively. Knowing what i do about some of his aversions, i find it possible that he never banged or banged VERY rarely.

Tessla appeals to a lot of perpetuum mobile lunatics.
He couldn't really into math as well which makes him likeable for people who want to rationalize their lack of education.
Kinda like the whole "einstein was bad at math" meme (which isn't true btw.)
Even though he's kind of overhyped, he was a great engineer.

People love him because he actually DID SOMETHING for the advancement of society. So many modern scientists, while definitely intelligent, fail to truly contribute to the advancement of society. It's all theory, mathematics and cataloging the latest obscure particle interactions in a billion dollar nerd toy.

Harnessing electricity and EM waves effectively is arguably the very basis of modern society. In this sense, Tesla is the supreme scientist of human history.

There's plenty of science done in social media these days. Social media and "personalized advertisement" will affect peoples lives even more than mass media did.

The things you can do if you couple data gathering with AI is rather creepy. Most people probably wouldn't believe you.

Because it is a rather smart way to make young high income males (who often work with tech-related things) spend their money.
