I'm a PhD student in Pure Math but just found out my IQ is 106. Should I give up now?

Just change your major from pure math to triple integrals and you should be fine.

Re-study Arithmetics and master them, then master algebra. That would increase your IQ by 10 points at least.

Mmm. Better switch to engineering.

Can't increase IQ, bud.

Math needs no machine intelligence, it needs human creativity.

You definitely can, but it doesn't mean you're any smarter because of it. That /sci/ meme Chris Langan is a good example. If you take the test once as a child, you're going to get a pretty accurate result. When you're a fully-grown man who has nothing to contribute to society, you can take the IQ test over and over to learn the methods of pattern completion, etc and inflate your score.

I'm projecting btw... because I got tested as a kid and scored a 128, and since then I've taken several and can score in the 160-range, but I'm essentially retarded.
